Modern American History

How did we get here? Where are we going? And why should anyone care? This course studies recent American history from post-WWII through the end of the Cold War. Through analyzing major political, economic, and social changes during the 20th century, this class seeks to create a better understanding of the forces at play in our country today. Reading, writing, and forming opinions on tough topics are the norm in this class.
