This course acquaints students with everyday problems in consumer law, family law, and criminal law. Students role-play a mock trial as well as a sentencing hearing and a parole board hearing. Students will also develop an understanding of American civil liberties by researching various U.S. Supreme Court decisions which have been instrumental in shaping our freedoms and rights.
